The MLK East Coast Jam Fest is another excellent event presented by the Basketball Group who specialize in showcasing under the radar players. This great event will be played at Archbishop Carroll HS in Washington, DC . 5 games will be payed with game 1 beginning at 12 pm
The Basketball Group is proud to present the inaugural MLK East Coast Jamfest held right here at the historic Archbishop Carroll High School in Northeast Washington, DC! This event was created to provide an opportunity for student athletes to compete on a national platform and to provide next level coaches another chance to observe the multi talented players from the historically rich recruiting soil that is referred to as the DMV! Coaches from every level will visit the building today and will view the games on our national broadcast. Each contest will provide HOT competition and sizzling showmanship. All sorts of school boy greats have competed on this hardwood and tonight’s contest will reveal the next group of unsung future stars of tomorrow. All games are being streamed live and each game is sanctioned by all participating states athletic governing organizations. This affair is being produced by The National Federation of High School Network and will be viewed by basketball fans from all over the United States. Our intent is to help connect an unsigned Senior or a Under the Radar student athlete with a scholarship on the next level. This upcoming affair is full of athletes who have shown promise this season and those who are no doubt hungry to establish themselves as legitimate next level collegiate basketball prospects. Additionally players committed to JUCOs, D3s, D2s and high major D1s will control the poetry in motion today on the hilltop. The list of national & local media, reporters, basketball writers, scouts & prognosticators covering this event will without a doubt pave a pathway for a few of these great young men to achieve their athletic and academic dreams!! Cesar Chavez is a member of the very tough DC Charter Conference. Head Coach Malcolm Battle always has his Eagles ready to play in their aggressive end to end style,, He does a great job mentoring his players on & off the court.6’2″ 2019 PG/CG #1 Lawrence Martin averages 22 ppg for the Eagles. he plays with one highest motors in the DC DMV & he is an excellent college prospect receiving interest from Virginia State & Virginia Union. 5’10” 2018 PG #3 Warren Lofton runs the point for Chavez & he is a pass 1st PG.

St. James is from Hagerstown, MD, approximately 42 miles from Washington, DC. The Saints are currently 6-3 & have a key conference match up with 11-3 Maret on 1-12-18 in Hagerstown.
