The Morning After: 12/26 Results and Recap
Only 8 Kentucky teams were in action on the day after Christmas but 2 of the top ranked teams from the Bluegrass State fell to out of state foes.
Moeller (OH) 60, Scott County 41 – At the Beach Ball Classic in Myrtle Beach the Cardinals took their first loss of the year to Jeremiah Davenport, Jaxson Hayes and Moeller out of Cincinnati. Scott County gave up 44 points in the paint in the loss. Senior Cooper Robb (5-16) and Junior Michael Moreno (4-15) struggled for Scott in their first loss of the season.
Webb (TN) 53, Fern Creek 51 – After winning the King of the Bluegrass last week, the Tigers lost on a buzzer beater to the Spartans from Webb, Tennessee. Clint Wickliffe and Anthony Wales had 14 apiece for the Tigers. Here’s the video of the game winner for Webb:

Blowouts Reign at Traditional Bank Classic
- 3rd Region contender Daviess County throttled Wolfe County 71-44 in the opener. Junior guard Dakota Walden starred for the Panthers.
- Doss laid the smackdown on Pikeville, 65-42. Senior PG Stephon Franklin continued his strong play.
- Led by freshman Kale Gaither, Henderson County pummeled Knott County Central, 71-56. Gaither had 28 points for the Colonels.
- Floyd Central was knocked off by Skills Factory out of Georgia, 62-46.
- Taylor County was offensively inept in their loss to Lafayette by a score of 71-31.
- The lone close game of the day was Franklin County falling to Elliott County by a score of 69-65. Tanner Dickerson was 8-10 from 3 in the win for Elliott.
