Recruiting Report: Moun’Tae Edmundson Jr. (2019)
Moun’Tae Edmundson Jr. is a 5’9 Combo Guard out of Oklahoma Centennial High School. Edmundson Jr. plays his grassroots ball for the Gamechangers Elite. He is a player who always gives his all.
Edmundson Jr. is a fast player, but has the knowledge to speed up and slow down the pace of the game with what is needed. He is a playmaker who can create for his teammates or for himself. He is also a solid shooter of the ball and can play good defense.
In the offseason, Edmundson Jr. has been working becoming a stronger player. He has worked on toning his body to become a better player. He has also worked on his jumping ability to be able to combat a smaller frame. He would like to become a more vocal leader on the court this season for the Bison after losing a big senior class.
Edmundson Jr’s favorite NBA player is one loved by many in the state of Oklahoma. His favorite player is Russell Westbrook because of how Westbrook plays the game.
“Westbrook never takes a play off,” said Edmundson Jr. “He goes 100 percent all the time.”
While off the court, Edmundson Jr’s mind does not slip far from basketball. He plays NBA 2K17 in his down time away from basketball.
While looking for a college, Edmundson Jr. is looking for a place that is a old basketball fit for him. He wants to play for an honest coach who is committed to making him a better player. He would also like to find a school that has a major in architecture. He currently has a 4.0 GPA and is ranked No. 58 in the 2019 class of Oklahoma.
Edmundson would like to make the Bison the best that they can be. He wants to be able to lead his team this season. His goal for this season is to return to the state tournament this season after a trip to the finals last year.
