Fall Preview Standouts Part 1
2019 PG Ashton Hagans – Newton High School
Hagans is arguably the best player in the peach state. Ashton can do it all. Hagans is a 6’3 point guard who is aggressive and is not scared of contact. He has skills out of the roof, especially in the open floor. The Newton point guard was able to score in transition, the half court, and also create plays for his teammates. Ashton is also mentally focused on the defensive side of the ball, forcing turnovers made it easy for him to score in transition.
2019 F James Gleason – Southwest Dekalb High School
Gleason is a combo forward with the ability to handle the ball in the open court at 6’6. Gleason can finish in the paint around the basket and can also hit the open jump shot. With Gleason and 2020 CG Kadarius Johnson, SWD is a team to look out for this season.
2018 WG Adrian Cohen – Etowah High School
Adrian Cohen is a high energetic athletic wing. Cohen was able to run the floor and was able to score in transition. Cohen was also able to rebound and defend. He has great size and length and you can add him to one of the top under the radar guys in the metro Atlanta area.
2019 F Ahmir Langlais – Parkview High School
Langlais is coming off a great summer. The Parkview combo forward has a lot of physicality in his game. Ahmir can affect the game in all areas of the floor. He was also able to run the floor in transition and score post up or faced up to the basket.
