OKC Top 250 Player Evaluations: Morning Session #26-35
The Prep Hoops Top 250 was in Oklahoma City on Sunday. Throughout the week Prep Hoops will have tons of content from the camp. Keep checking PrepHoops.com for content. Player Evaluations will be done for every player that attended the Top 250 camp. Order is based off the number provided at camp. These will be released over the course of the next couple of days.
Evan Eshelman: 6’3 2019 Forward Norman North High School
Eshelman is an undersized forward, but showed that he had the ability to stretch the floor out to the 3-point line. He had a tough time against bigger competition, but used his shooting ability well to stretch the defense.
Jordan Flood: 6’3 2018 Forward Tulsa Union High School
Flood used his body well showing a great knack for rebounding the ball. He was able to gain position against taller opponents and secure the rebound multiple times.
Ethan Flynt: 5’7 2018 Guard Alva High School
Flynt is a smaller guard, but showed awesome tenacity on defense. He was able to get multiple 50/50 balls and provide his team with constant energy. Flynt finished at the rim well.
Dayne Fuxa: 6’3 2018 Forward Garber High School
Fuxa is an undersized forward who showed great energy during play. He was a spark plug for his team going after loose balls and helping off his assignment.
Patrick Garrett: 6’4 2019 Forward John Marshall High School
Garrett is a forward who rebounded the ball very well on Sunday. He blocked out his opponents well and was able to grab difficult rebounds through traffic.
Jacob Germany: 6’10 2019 Forward Kingston High School
Germany was one of the best players in the morning session Sunday. He used his height and length to block multiple shots as well as showing why he is one of the most highly sought after recruits in the state. He scored well from the post and showed he could stretch the floor out past the 3-point line.
Kamden Gipson: 5’9 2018 Guard Edmond Santa Fe High School
Gipson was one of the better guard at camp Sunday. He is a pest on defense and was able to be a floor general on the offensive side. He passed the ball extremely well and showed an improved shot from the outside.
Peyton Golightly: 6’5 2019 Forward Jenks High School
Golightly is a big-bodied forward who rebounded the ball extremely well. He used his bigger frame to create space for the rebounds. He will only get better as he learns to use his body more.
Antonio Gordon: 6’8 2019 Forward Lawton Eisenhower High School
Gordon was a breakout player this past summer and is only getting better. He is an extremely long forward who can stretch the floor nicely. He is uber-athletic and threw down some monstrous slams. The reason he is ascending so quickly is that of the consistency of his outside shot. He is able to get his shot off on most defenders, and disregarding how unorthodox his form is, he has been knocking down 3’s at a very consistent rate.
Payton Gordon: 6’0 2019 Guard Westmoore
Gordon is an average size guard who shot the ball pretty well from behind the arc. He didn’t show much else, but he proved he is a serviceable spot up shooter.
