OKC Prep Hoops Top 250 Stock Risers: Part 3
The Prep Hoops Top 250 was in Oklahoma City on Sunday. Throughout the week Prep Hoops will have tons of content from the camp. Keep checking PrepHoops.com for content. The third article from OKC features the first session 2018 and 2019 players.
Grayson Nix 2018 Red Oak Wing
Nix dominated the Prep Hoops Top 250 EXPO camp scoring at three levels. Nix shot the ball well from three-point range. The improved handles of Nix were where he separated himself. Nix glided to the rim with ease. For most of his high school career, Nix has been overlooked playing at Red Oak. However, heading into his senior season, Nix is picking up substantial NCAA Division II interest.
Camden Patterson 2018 Ringwood Forward
Anytime a 6’11 Post is walking around in Oklahoma they are going to be a sought-after player. Patterson moved well on the court at the Prep Hoops Top 250 EXPO thriving in transition. He showed flashes of a nice jumper from mid-range with a few three-pointers falling as well. Patterson’s size will attract colleges with his ability to be a stretch the floor.
Moun’Tae Edmundson Jr. 2019 Cenntenial Point Guard
Edmundson Jr. a smaller quick Point Guard caught the Prep Hoops staff eyes with an excellent camp performance. He scored the ball best getting to the rim. After maturing a lot this summer with Game Changer Hoops on the grassroots circuit, he seems to have continued to improve. Edmundson Jr. had an excellent assist to turnover ratio. He is a player who has an opportunity to have a great year at Cenntenial.
Jace Pratt 2018 Sperry Point Guard
Pratt might be the best shooter in the state of Oklahoma that many people are unaware of. On Sunday he put on a clinic shooting the three-pointer extremely well even from way behind the arc. Pratt has transitioned to less of a Shooting Guard role and more of a Point Guard. He is receiving NAIA Division II and NCAA Division II interest.
Camryn Dennis 2019 Broken Arrow Point Guard
Dennis thrives in the showcase formats of camps with his elite ball handling skills. He was outstanding in iso situations making defenders look silly for attempting to guard him. He got to the rim and made the defense respect his jumper. Dennis holds NCAA Division I interest with an offer from Oral Roberts. At the Point Guard spot, Dennis still has some areas to improve, but the potential for him to be one of the best players in the 2019 Oklahoma Class as a senior is there.
