OKC Prep Hoops Top 250 Stock Risers: Part 1
The Prep Hoops Top 250 was in Oklahoma City on Sunday. Throughout the week Prep Hoops will have tons of content from the camp. Keep checking PrepHoops.com for content. The first article from OKC starts with the first session 2018 and 2019 players.
Ethan Flynt 2018 Alva Point Guard
At first look, Flynt is a small Guard that doesn’t have eye-popping size. However, watch Flynt for a little, and he will quickly prove what makes him valuable. He was super quick on the court darting past defenders to the hoop with strong finishes. Alva has a good high school player in Flynt. He projects to the NAIA Division II level.
Josh Robinson 2018 Broken Arrow Wing
Robinson moved from the Texas to Tulsa metro area landing at Broken Arrow high school. Sunday was the Prep Hoops staff first time to see him play on the Wing. He did not disappoint showing he is a talented athlete. Robinson got to the rim with ease. There are still parts of his game that will need to be developed, but as an athlete, Robinson was top notch.
Antonio Gordon 2019 Lawton Ike Forward
Gordon put on a show at the Prep Hoops Top 250 EXPO in Oklahoma City on Sunday. He showed his athleticism in his 6’7 body throwing down some incredible jams. Some players want to play on the Wing and not venture into the paint, but Gordon loves thriving down low. He did stretch the floor making some mid-range jumpers. The next step for Gordon is to continue to work to get his jumper to be consistent. He is rising quickly in the 2019 Oklahoma Class.
Peyton Golightly 2019 Jenks Forward
Golightly will be an under the radar kid heading into his senior season due to the fact he will likely have to sit out his junior season after transferring to Jenks. He grew up as a player on the court a lot this summer. On Sunday at the EXPO Golightly looked in shape and shot the ball extremely well. If Golightly can continue to hit jumpers, it will help his game translate as a stretch four.
Peyton Vinyard 2019 Norman North Point Guard
Vinyard showed tremendous growth in his game on Sunday at the EXPO. He shot the ball the best I have ever seen him shoot knocking down three-point shot after three-point shot. Vinyard simply could not miss. He did not shy away from what he has always been good at running the Point Guard spot like a well-oiled machine. Vinyard has the opportunity to have a huge breakout year at Norman North.
