Trey Hill is a 6’4 guard from Pleasure Ridge Park High School in Louisville, KY. As a junior, he helped lead the Panthers to a 18-11 overall record and a 21st District tournament championship. “Last high school season went pretty well. I wanted to go further than we did, but we have time to get better this year,” said Hill. Trey averaged 15.2 points and 5 rebounds per game during the season and was awarded Most Valuable Player of the 21st District championship game.
This season Hill has already laid out his goals. “My goal is to be in the running for Mr. Basketball, win 6th region Player of the Year , and lead my team to go to state tournament.”
Hill played AAU ball with Team (CKY) Vision and G3Grind. “Playing with both those teams allowed me to continue getting better at my game.” This summer Hill has been working on shooting the ball better around the perimeter and getting physically stronger.
Trey is a combo guard with high basketball IQ and has good speed and athleticism that allows him to get to the basket with ease. He has a streaky 3-point shot and a nice mid range game.
In the classroom, Hill tries to maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher. In looking for a place to play at the next level, he had this to say – “I look for academics first, and the style of play and whether the school fits me or not. I also look at what I want to major in and see if the school has it.”
Hill currently holds an offer from Eastern Kentucky and has heard from Indiana State, Ball Sate, IUPUI, Jacksonville, Radford, Air Force, and Bradley.
