Keyshawn Embery continues to pour in offers
The 2018 Oklahoma top prospect Keyshawn Embery continued to pour in scholarship offers on Tuesday. After having one of the best July’s, I have seen a player have, Embery is getting his due. West Virginia and Georgia Tech were the latest offers to come to Embery.
West Virginia has ties to Embery through the BIG 12. Also, looking at fit wise, Embery fits very well with what West Virginia does. The connection to Georgia Tech for Embery is Oklahoman, Curtis Haywood. It will be interesting to see what other High Major programs join the impressive list of Embery. He will have a hectic fall planning his five official visits.
Keyshawn Embery now holds offers from West Virginia, Georgia Tech, Nebraska, Creighton, Purdue, Tulsa, Houston, Arizona State, Butler, Arkansas, Virginia Tech, Cincinnati, Texas A&M, South Flordia, Oral Roberts and Fordham.
Embery is a talented Combo Guard; Prep Hoops projects will mainly play at the 2 in college. The big question surrounding the game of Embery this spring was can he consistently shoot the ball well? This July Embery more than showed he could shoot the ball well and continued to bring all of his other intangibles to the floor.
The question Prep Hoops Oklahoma has continued to be asked is why are the Oklahoma schools not offering Embery? Don’t count Oklahoma or Oklahoma State from offering just yet. Even if Embery does not receive offers from Oklahoma or Oklahoma State, he will be just fine with an excellent selection of schools to pick from at the High Major level.
Embery will likely continue to see more schools show interest in him. One school of note that is recruiting him is Kansas.
