Atop the Oklahoma 2019 Class
The 2019 Oklahoma Class features a new top ranked player in the latest Prep Hoops rankings. Jacob Germany out of Kingston rose to the number one ranking with his production this summer and potential on the court. At 6’10 in the Post Germany causes trouble for opponents on both ends of the floor.
Germany slid up to the top spot due to his High Major potential in the Post. This summer Germany showed signs of high-level play on the court with Team Griffin on the Nike Circuit. Using his size and frame Germany became a consistent double digit rebounder this summer. A huge plus in Germany’s arsenal is his ability to run the floor. Germany needs to get stronger and tougher inside.
When he faced players at his size on the national level it was evident he must put on weight and continue to enhance his post moves.

The size and length paired with his sneaky quickness make him a shot adjusting machine in the paint. He blocks many shots, but the presence of Germany has an even greater effect than what goes down in the box score.
When asked what drives Germany he listed several key things in his life.
“God, my family, and wanting to be the best player I can be,” said Germany.
Germany has a good head on his shoulders with wise short and long term goals.
“My goals this year are to take state and also get offers,” said Germany. “My long term goals are to go to college and then continue to my basketball career at the pro level.”
Germany has the skill set to dominate Oklahoma high school hoops. The ceiling for Germany is high. It will be intriguing to see the development of Germany over the next two years at Kingston.
