A wrap-up from Las Vegas: Frank’s Top 10
LAS VEGAS – It was an oh-so-long seven days and nights of camp- and tournament-watching in a city that figuratively never sleeps.
I didn’t get any literal sleep during that stretch, either.
But, one doesn’t come to this town to “rest”, right?
That’s certainly not the case with all of the hoops going on in convention centers, YMCAs and high schools across the town during the last of the NCAA July “evaluation weeks”.
I pared all of the players I saw during the adidas Summer Championships and Fab 48 and came up with 10 that impressed me most during the games in which I watched them.
A couple of caveats: This list isn’t based upon “college potential” or “the level of college programs” that happen to be recruiting them. It’s strictly a “how they played when I watched” list. And, also to be noted, I didn’t see any of the Big Foot games or any of the Nike/EYBL “The Eight” tournament.
With that out of the way, here we go:
Chris Austin (Class of 2018/L.A. Rockfish 17s/Pasadena Maranatha)
