Recruiting Riser: Landers Nolley
Team Loaded NC reached the finals of the adidas Gauntlet Finale held in Spartanburg, South Carolina and lost by one point to Team Future out of Texas. One of the key players in their run was Landers Nolley, a recruit who has seen his stock rise since his play in July has impressed a lot of coaches.
Landers NolleyNolley is a long and athletic wing who plays his high school basketball in Georgia at Langston Hughes High School. “July has been amazing, so far July has been very good to me and I have picked up a few new offers since the spring and summer started and look forward to many more,” said Nolley.
The new offers for Nolley include St. Louis, Clemson, Alabama, and Wichita State. “Ohio State and Providence are close to offering,” said Nolley.
Coaches want to see improvement between live periods and Nolley has done that. “I’ve improved on many aspects of my game such as my passing ability, getting other players involved and focusing on my dribbling and keep improving my motor for the next level because I know the game is a lot faster and more up-tempo,” Nolley said.
Planning official visits from his list of schools that are recruiting him is the next big decision that Nolley will need to make. “I will take a look at my list and will decide in the next few weeks which schools I will take a visit to.”
Team Loaded NC features some of the highest risers in the recruiting world on a national scale. Nate Hinton, a 6-foot-5 guard from Gastonia, North Carolina went from a mid-major level player to a legitimate high-major guard similar to the rise that Nolley has seen first hand with his own recruitment.
