Prep Hoops Finale 15U preview
The Prep Hoops Finale gets underway on Friday night at Solid Rock in Edmond, Oklahoma and at Putnam City North High School. We preview today the impressive 15U field with teams from the surrounding states that include some great accolades. Get two standouts to watch from each squad below. Get the full schedule here:
Arkansas Heat Elite
Jacob Sanders 2020 Wing
Sanders is a crafty slasher to the basket at 5’9. The wiry scorer is capable of scoring at the rim with a solid perimeter game as well. He will look to shine his offensive talents on the big stage.
Jaaron Harriott 2020 Point Guard
Harriott is a smooth operator in transition and in the half court. He has a great feel for the game with great court vision. The perimeter game of Harriott is very strong.
Ball 4 Life 15U
Trendon Tisdale 2020 Guard
He is a good left-handed shooter and ball handler, can go both ways and finish with either hand. Solid decision maker and defender that takes care of the ball. He runs the team as a general on the floor, with a high basketball I.Q.
Bo Jackson 2020 Guard
He is a solid shooter and ball handler with a killer instinct. Strong defender due to hustle and determination. He has a motor that will not quit. Moves with out the ball well, to get shot he wants.
Game Changer Hoops 15U (White)
Wyatt Vinyard 2020 Guard
Vinyard has been having a strong spring for Game Changer Hoops 15U squad. He will try to continue his scoring outbursts in the Prep Hoops Finale to kickoff the summer.
NTX Slam
Amiri Crowder 2020 Guard
Crowder is a key piece for NTX Slam a talented 15U squad. He is the player that makes NTX go.
Travis Massey 2020 Post
This 6’6 young Post is just getting started. He is starting to show not only signs of improvement, but also signs of maturity in his body. Opponents will struggle to handle his size and what he brings to the table.
Oklahoma Heat
Jason Pool 2020 Post
Pool brings toughness in the paint to the Oklahoma Heat. He will be key on the boards and defensively.
Oklahoma Hustlers
Torrin Walker 2020 Wing
Walker is a three or four depending on what Coach Pierce is looking for at the time. He plays around the rim best using his strength to score.
TJ Weaver 2020 Wing
Weaver can play all five positions due to his 6’5 size and athleticism. He is a big time athlete and starting to grow into a huge role with the Oklahoma Hustlers.
Oklahoma Sky
Justus Reister 2020 Guard
Reister is a high level shooter with the capability of knocking down shots with extended range and consistency. He attacks the rim well in transition and is able to finish plays with mid-range pull up, or floaters and layups in the lane.
Chris Cornish 2020 Guard
Cornish is able to attack the rim and finish through contact both in transition and in the half court. Cornish is a difficult matchup off the dribble in the extended post area and on the perimeter.
Oklahoma Spurs
Isaiah Williams 2020 Guard
Can play Point guard or as a Wing type of player. He is quick, can score, long armed defender. A good ball handler with good basketball instincts.
Parker Johnson 2020 Guard
He is very athletic and physical. In the paint he rebounds well. Johnson plays aggressive. On offense he excels at the mid-range shot.
Oklahoma Southwest Elite
Sep Reece 2020 Guard
Reece can score off the dribble using his quickness to the rim. He excels as a scorer in all three levels.
Ashawnti Hunter 2020
Several have Hunter tabbed as one of the top prospects in the Oklahoma 2020 Class. He will get to show his skill set and upside in Oklahoma City this weekend. Buckle up the kid can play.
Oklahoma Wolfpack
Matt Garza 2020 Guard
Garza can fill it up in a hurry when he is on with his jumper. He plays hard for Oklahoma Wolfpack. He will be a key for the Oklahoma Wolfpack this weekend.
Garret Eisenhower 2020 Forward
Eisenhower is a long Forward that will be called upon to be versatile and bang around in the paint for the Oklahoma Wolfpack. The size of Eisenhower should help him to hold his own in the paint.
Team Cougars Elite
Brandon Zeno 2020 Guard/Forward
Zeno is a 6’1 solid, agile, post scoring threat. He is a leader and shows great attitude on and off the court. He got some playing time on Star Spencer a state tournament runner up squad a year ago.
Jayden Winder 2020 Guard
Winder is a 6′ 2 way guard that can score. He can guard the opposing teams best player with his good defense. He has a high basketball IQ. Winder is easily seen as one of the leaders of the team.
Team Griffin 2021
Jackie Johnson III 2021 Point Guard
Johnson is a national name at the middle school level. He is known for putting up a ton of points. Look for a show this weekend. It will be interesting to see how he does against older competition.
Tobias Roland 2021 Post
Roland is super tough in the paint. He rebounds the ball very well. He has developed a great mid-range game and has even extended out to the three-point line at times.
Team Potential
Jaylen Moss 2020 Forward
Moss is an undersized Forward that gives Team Potential great energy and toughness off the bench. He rebounds the ball well and is tough inside.
Marcus Newton 2020 Wing
Newton is a tweener 3 or 4. He gives Team Potential some good minutes with his ability to score and play both ends of the floor.
