Brandon’s Prep Hoops Finale Stock Risers
With such a talented pool of teams in the #PHFinale17 here is some players who have increased their stock and caught our eye.
Bryan Harris 2018 OKC Wolfpack 17U
Harris is dynamic lefty who can put up numbers quickly. He was on fire Saturday which caused a scare for the opponents.
Harris is the type of player who can put a 6 or 9 point streak together without blinking. He is a shooter to keep an eye on in the 2018 class.
Brooks Haddock 2018 Tulsa Hawks
Shooting is the name of the game and if you have one who can knock it down consistently every one else benefits. Haddock is that type of sniper for the Tulsa Hawks.
He fits perfectly with this highly skilled Hawks squad. Haddock is an active shooter who knows his role and is frequently looking for ways to get open shots for himself and eventually that will open things for others.
Josh Rivers 2018 Primetime Red
Rivers had to pick up the load that was left after Will Graham’s unfortunate injury. Rivers did not flinch at the new found responsibility. Rivers found ways to get to the basket and compete on the defense end.
He attack the basket with no regard for his own body. If we learned anything about Rivers is that he is an intense competitor who isn’t scared to do more for his team.
Morgan Brown 2018 Rocky Mountain Vipers
Brown is the college prototype for a wing. At a legit 6’5, Brown showed off his versatile offensive game. He scored some tough baskets in transition through traffic.
Brown caught the ball trailing the play and pulled up and nailed a three. It was very evident that Brown is a natural scorer who has a ton of potential for the next level.
Micah McQuarters 2018 Oklahoma Showtime 2018
Most guards from Tulsa Union go underrated due to their consistent crop of talented size. However, McQuarters is here to show off his talents and he did so far this weekend.
He has a beautiful jump shot which is a joy to watch. Not much a high school kid can do when he goes left and pulls up for a jumper in rhythm.
At 6’3, McQuarters can play the wing but he can also play the point which adds a lot of value to his game. He will be player to keep your eyes on this summer.
Nate Goodlow 2020 OK Power Elite 16U
Goodlow has had a great summer with the Power but he continues to show different layers of his potential. The Power Elite 16U isn’t the most talented team but Goodlow and Shemar Smith are surrounded by competitors who play their role with pride.
Goodlow has been a tough matchup for every one stands in front of him. He isn’t just a scorer though. Goodlow plays hungry and it seems like that is the only way he knows how to play. He brings it defensively which is contagious for his teammates. Expect to hear more about the Del City guard.
