Impact Transfers: Part Two
Dallas Hall – 6’5” G/F – Northeastern High School (via Perquimans High School) – 2018
This two sport star (football & basketball) is a jack of all trades on the basketball court. He has the size, quickness and athleticism to play and defend guards as well as forwards. At Perquimans he brought a ton of toughness, tons of energy and an above average ability to create baskets for himself on the fastbreak. He also has a soft touch from mid-range and can knock down the 3 pointer with good consistency. Expect Hall to bring plenty of excitement to Northeastern with his combination of skill, grit and his high motor.
Rakilen Butler – 6’2” PG – C.B. Aycock High School (via Southern Wayne High School) – 2018
Lights out shooter! Rakilen can shoot the ball with the best. Whether it’s off the dribble or coming off a screen, he must be covered at all times. He’s also a heady ball-handler that can run a team and possesses solid court vision. Has the length and athleticism to also get to the rim and slam it home. Defends the ball well at both guard spots and has quick hands. A true sleeper prospect deep in eastern North Carolina.
Rande Harper – 6’2” G – Farmville Central High School (via Trinity Christian School) – 2019
One of the better defenders in the eastern part of the state. Harper really digs in tough on the defensive end while taking much pride in his matchups. He’s not a one way player either. Offensively, he possesses next level athleticism and will undoubtedly have several highlight reel dunks in traffic this season. Should his shot continue developing and should he stay on the attack, he’ll be a load to handle offensively as well. Expect Harper to step in and contribute at a high level on both ends of the floor at Farmville Central next season.
