Big Shots Charlotte: Standout Wings
Aaron Wiggins put in work at Big Shots Charlotte! Shyquan Jones and Jaden Seymour were also standout wings.
Aaron Wiggins– Team Charlotte – 6’6” SG – Class of 2018
Smooth scoring wing. Wiggins connected on mid-range jumpers with great consistency throughout the tourney. At times, appeared virtually unstoppable once he got into his groove. At 6’6”, not many guards can slow him down when he’s aggressive like he was in his matchup vs Team Felton. Great size for the position, athletic and smarts. Showed the ability to step up and be the go to guy without their main starting point guard. Has all of the makings of a steal for Maryland.
Shyquan Jones– Garner Road – 6’5” SG – Class of 2019
Hidden gem. Shyquan stands around 6’5” with an even more impressive wingspan that makes him a well above average defender and rebounder from the guard spot. Has the handle to play some point guard while having the strength and length to guard up to 3 positions. Was all over the floor on both ends, blocking shots, getting into the passing lanes and offensively he connected on several nice jumpers, got to the rim and finished at a high level. Sleeper prospect for Garner Road.
Jaden Seymour – Team Wall – 6’7” SF – Class of 2020
It’s very easy to assume that Seymour is a rising senior just by watching him play seamlessly with Team Wall 17U, but this kid is just a rising sophomore. Plays basketball with a no non-sense approach and gets the most out of his current abilities. Does a great job on the glass, finishes well inside and makes quick moves alongside the perimeter. His body will continue to mature and his athleticism will continue improving upward. College coaches are going to be all over this kid in the coming years.
