The Adidas Gauntlet series is in its Finale stages down in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The event started last night and really heated up today. Prep Hoops Kentucky looks to update you on all the action featuring programs and prospects from the Bluegrass State.
The Louisvlle Magic narrowly defeated Marcus Smart YGC Thursday in their only game of the day, 56-54. The game was tied at the half 26-26. The Magic shot 41.9% from the field and 37.5% from 3-pt range.
Top Performers Include:
Chance Moore (Louisville Fern Creek), who will be attending Beckley Prep (WV) and reclassify to the 2018 class, led all scorers with 19 (on 6-12 shooting). He also had 4 rebounds. Moore holds offers from New Mexico, Canisius College, Cleveland State.
Pulaski County’s Steven Fitzgerald put in 12 points in 15 minutes on 5-9 shooting. He also pulled down 4 rebounds. He currently holds offers from Ball State, Stetson, Middle Tennessee State, Eastern Kentucky.
Corbin’s Andrew Taylor contributed 8 points on the day while also picking up offers from Jacksonville State and Kent State. Taylor holds more than D1 10 offers currently.
Eric Boone of Bryan Station scored 7 points and grabbed 5 rebounds for the Magic. He shot 3-4 from the field.
