Top 2018 Oklahoma Point Guards: Will Graham
Graham is one of the more underrated players in the state. He is ranked #20 in Prep Hoops 2018 Top 100 but he doesn’t get the attention he deserves. He is a 5’10 point guard who has blazing seed and has good touch around the rim.
The lefty is coming off a great season at Westmoore whenever they made it to the State Tournament and barring injuries they may have gotten further. Graham is the leader for the Jaguars who always stays calm no matter the storm.
There were times this past season where Graham was asked to be the primary scorer which he did effectively by getting in transition and beating pressure in the half court.
He also played the set up man on many occasions which made his teammates better like Kevin Dilliard, Trey Palmer, and Damoriea Vick. The Jaguars overall was one of the best passing teams in the state but that unselfish energy starts with Graham.
One of the most underrated parts of the 5’10 guard’s game is his ability to rebound. You would see post players around the rim and somehow Graham would come out of nowhere and snag the rebound.
Most point guards don’t want to get in the mix of physicality that goes into rebounding but Graham welcomed it. Kudos to his coaches for giving a talented rebounder the freedom to attack the glass.
Graham is the prototypical DII point guard prospect. Solid size who can get to the rim and make plays for shooters around him. He can defend his position with speed and quick feet.
Graham has everything it takes to have a great senior and move on to a successful career at a high Division II.
