NTBA Pre-Nationals Tourney Standouts: Part 3
Fayetteville Spurs 2020 Forward Trevion Graham: Every team needs a player that brings a workman like attitude to the court and that’s what you know you will get from Trevion, he doesn’t do much talking but produced at a high rate for his team. What I liked most about him is that he’s not a player that you have to run plays for but is a youngster that creates offense of rebounds.
Fayetteville Spurs 2020 Guard Marvin Bines: Bines had a solid performance overall, he didn’t do much damage in the first half but showed his talent in the 2nd half. The attribute that you notice about him almost immediately is his patience on the offensive end of the floor, he doesn’t force plays and shoots a high percentage.
UBE 2020 Guard Shykee Hines: Didn’t have his best shooting performance from deep but you can tell that this kid is a knock down shooter. He understands has to get his shot off and has good form and lift on his shot, and has a fairly quick release so his shot doesn’t get blocked often.
NC Panthers 2020 Forward Brandon Franklin: Brandon has some of the most potential of any player we saw at the event, at 6’6 with a long wingspan and a soft touch, you can see the potential in his game when you watch him play. Once he adds to his frame and plays aggressive he can develop into a very nice prospect on the next level.
NC Panthers 2020 Guard D.J Banks: Banks might have had one of the best moves of the day when he hit a defender with a serious euro-step to score in the 2nd half, his change of speed and direction was also impressive. He brings it on the defensive end of the floor as well, he applied constant pressure and came up with a high amount of steals.
