William & Mary 6’9 forward (and former Lexington Catholic stand-out) Jack Whitman has transferred to Kansas as a graduate transfer.
Whitman averaged 13 minutes per game at William & Mary, with his points per game at 3.3. He also averaged 3 rebounds per game and shot over 54% from the field. Against James Madison, his best game of the season, Whitman started and scored 9 points and grabbed 5 rebounds.
At Lexington Catholic, Whitman averaged 19.8 points and 10 rebounds per game and earned first-team all-state. That season the Knights lost in the 11th Region championship game to future Kentucky Wildcat Dominique Hawkins and state champion Madison Central.
