4 Oregon shooters you need to know
Jake Estep (2018), a junior Wing from Beaverton High School. Estep had a break out with multiple 20 point games. Estep had two 26 point games with one as a win against Southridge to go to the chiles center, the other was a lost to West Linn in the 3rd place game. Estep averaged 18.5 points and shot 51% from the field and 89% from the free throw line. Estep was 1st team all league, 1st team all tournament, and 2nd team all state.
Stevie Schlabach (2019), a sophomore shooting guard from Tigard is making a name for himself in the state of Oregon after making 1st team all League in the Three Rivers League. This season Schlabach put up multiple 20 point performances including a 26 point loss against rival team Tualatin. Schlabach averaged 16.3 points per game and shot 52% from the field. Also shooting 85% from the free throw line, Stevie is ranked #2 in the sophomore class in Oregon. Stevie is a player to watch out for in the upcoming 2017-18 season.
Josh Angle (2019), a sophomore guard from Lake Oswego is one of the best shooters in the state in his own regard. This season, he put up multiple games where he made 4-5 3 pointers per game. Most notably, Angle made 5 threes in an overtime win at Lakeridge, and 4 threes in a 19 point performance at West Linn. Angle was honorable mention all Three Rivers League last season.
Tyler Wadleigh (2018) a 5’9″ guard may lack height but makes up in his shooting abilities. The shooting guard from South Salem averaged 19 a game with the green light to shoot from anywhere and everywhere on the floor. Wadleigh shot 87% from the free throw line, a mark good enough for fourth in the state. This past season he received 2nd team all league.
