Grassroots preview: Oklahoma Servants
The Oklahoma Servants always seem to put together a couple of squads that compete at a high level. The Servants have a couple of players who fly under the radar each year. This year is no different as a couple of players project to the Division II to NAIA level for the Servants. The team has high goals heading into the year.
“Our goals are to develop players in each age group,” said Coach Gerron Harding. “For our Elite team to average 100 points a game and compete for championships in every tournament we play in. Also, teaching these kids about the word of God as well as life skill.”
The Servants will have an elite team, but are debating on possibly having a 16U elite team as well. Get a look at some of the top talent below.
Trez Hankins 2018 Guard
Hankins is a big time shooter on the Wing at 6’2. He is one of the better 2018 shooters in the Oklahoma Class. Hankins has a chance to evaluate to a Division II level prospect over this summer.
Alfred Alkannama 2019 Point Guard
Alkannama is an under the radar Point Guard who is out of PCO. He has a chance to really breakout this summer. He will get together the team and does a great job leading his squad.
Dawson Suthers 2018 Wing
Suthers is a fundamental player who does a great job of making the right plays. He has a high basketball IQ.
Cratezz Graves 2018 Guard
Graves is a player who could really open some eyes this summer at the small college level.
“I enjoy giving back to the younger generation,” said Harding. “Watching the kids game develop over the course of the spring and summer.”
The Servants are going to be headed to Dallas for the Adidas Prospects series in the first live period and in the second live period the Servants are going to be back in Dallas for the GASO.
