E1T1 Invitational Standouts (Part 2)
E1T1 United held a tournament this weekend at The Big House in Tavares, Fla. Teams from across the state and the U.S. took part from youth to high school age.
Friday night opened up the tourney with games on Saturday and the bracketed rounds went down on Sunday in front of a big crowd.
Here are the top standouts from the E1T1 Invitational (Part 2).
Nick Honor (E1T1)
Nick Honor is a Lake Highland Prep 2018 guard who really shined for E1T1 17U. He drilled some big 3's time and time again. He threw some sweet alley-oops to Williams. Perhaps Honor's best play was a spin move to the rack for two. The 5'10" guard has six offers including Toledo, Georgia Southern and FGCU.
Jordan Grant (Team MOAM)
Team MOAM has some athletes including Jordan Grant who is filled with determination. The 2018 guard had a big block in transition against E1T1 17U's Josh Mballa. Grant is a deceivingly quick player when running down the floor. The 5'11" guard has a strong attack game. At Olympia, Grant will be a core guy as a senior.
Kobe Opoku (Wade Elite)
At 6'9" it's hard to miss Kobe Opoku. He is really good inside and he makes the most of his length work on defense as well. Lean right now, Opoku is growing into his body, but he has the mentality of a big that will mature on the court. Opoku is going to have a nice summer for Wade Elite and I think this isn't the last we hear of him. He is coming up.
Samir Stewart (E1T1)
Samir Stewart is really good. The rising senior shined for E1T1 17U flashing his handles, speed and outside jumper. He set up plenty of his teammates with nice passing as well. The Sagemont 2018 guard is really strong at his 5'11" frame. He has offers from North Florida and Towson currently. Stewart is going to get noticed this summer simply due to his basketball IQ.
Tre Mann (E1T1)
For the E1T1 16U, Tre Mann had plenty of moments this weekend. Coming off a stellar season at The Villages, the 6'1" guard has Memphis and Texas A&M as his two current offers with interest from Florida as well. Quick and shifty, Mann makes everyone around him better. He's unpredictable at times which makes his game fun to watch. His 3-point shot is seasoned.
