BigFoot LV Easter Showdown (Utah Supreme 17U)
The Utah Supreme club basketball team played in their first event in their existence as a club. The team is made up of players attending Roy High School and is coached by Roy High Head Coach Terry Schriver. Utah Supreme stubbled out of the gates and lost both of their pool games that placed them into the gold bracket. From there, They won two games to get into semi-finals where they eventually lost to Mesa High School (AZ). I will highlight some of the top individual performances from the Utah Supreme.
Alex Lamb 6’2 (2018) was probably the best all-around player for the Utah Supreme. He was able to score consistently along with dishing out assists and playing great defense. Lamb was an all-region player this past season and is primed for a great club season.
Ben Mcbride 6’8 (2018) had a strong tournament that included scoring the ball and rebounding at a high level. What makes Mcbride an intriguing prospect is his ability to step out and the outside jumper. He is a D2 prospect that could have a huge senior season.
Alex Holley 6’4 (2018) Shot the ball very well from the three point line which makes him hard to guard with his ability to get to the basket. At 6’4 Holley is a bigger wing that is able to score over opposing smaller guards.
Caleb koski 6’0 (2020) Shot the ball well from deep and had a game where he scored in double figures. Look for him to have a bigger role for Roy next year.
Kobe Schriver 5’8 (2021) the 8th grader held his own playing in the 17U division. He shot the ball well and found his teammates for open shots. Schriver is one of the best three point shooters in the class of 2021 in the state of Utah.
