Prep Hoops Oklahoma 2019 Top 40 Prospect Rankings
The Prep Hoops Oklahoma 2019 Prospect Rankings have been updated. The list was extended to the top 40 players in the state. The prospect rankings were updated with detailed scouting throughout the high school season.
Kobe Burgess takes over as the top ranked prospect in the 2019 Oklahoma class. Over the season Burgess has taken his game to another level. The improvement of Burgess over the past year has pushed him to the top. Burgess is a legit two way player that brings it every night on both ends of the floor.
Julian Smith, Micah Thomas, Hunter Staton and Seth Hurd round out the top five. At Sapulpa in Class 6A Smith has been forced into a role to be the guy at a young age. He is growing and maturing on the court each game. Smith has scored the ball well this year for the Chieftains. Thomas is starting to mature into one of the better guards in the class with his ball handling skills, shooting stroke and improving vision. Staton has great touch around the rim with legit 6’7 size. Hurd is close to 6’6 with a long wingspan to lock down the paint. This season Hurd has scored the ball more efficiently in the paint and continued to do a great job of rebounding the basketball.
Several players made moves throughout the 2019 Oklahoma Prospect Rankings. Throughout the weekend Prep Hoops Oklahoma will break down the 2019 Oklahoma Prospect Rankings. Who made the biggest jump? Biggest surprise of the season? Most improved?
