Stephon Hall 2018 Mount Saint Mary’s Point Guard
Hall already holds an offer from Oklahoma Christian, expect more Division II programs to go after him hard. He scored the basketball well from three-point range. Hall doesn’t force a lot of shots, but instead did a good job of getting his teammates involved. Prep Hoops will be watching Hall closely as the spring and summer approach. He appears to be set for a huge grassroots season.
Brantly Thompson 2017 Tuttle Wing (Signed OBU)
Thompson inked his name with Oklahoma Baptist this fall. So far Thompson has done a great job of leading Tuttle against a stout schedule. Tuttle looks to Thompson to be a great scoring force for them. Thompson is not the most athletic, but will surprise you. He shot the ball well from behind the arc. The size of Thompson, his shooting skills, leadership qualities and high basketball IQ make him a prospect that has a chance to make an immediate impact at Oklahoma Baptist.
Tony Elix 2017 Mount Saint Mary’s Forward
Elix has improved vastly since I last saw him play. The 2017 Forward displayed great touch on his mid-range jumper and even on an outside shot. Elix with some work at a JUCO could transform into more a Wing than a Forward. As of now Elix is still a very attractive 2017 prospect with his post skills at 6’6. He scores the basketball well. The athleticism and toughness of Elix allow him to play tough on defense too. Elix will be one of the better JUCO prospects in the 2017 Oklahoma class.
Jaden Periman 2017 Tuttle Wing
Periman caught fire from the three-point line on Thursday. He stands about 6’5 with a long and laky build. NAIA Division II programs should give him a strong look at the next level. The size of Periman make him a player of interest along with his scoring ability.
Nick Martinich 2017 Mount Saint Mary’s Wing
Martinich shot the cover off the ball on Thursday. He has a smooth pure jump shot at 6’5. Colleges at the JUCO level are giving him a strong look. He could also get some Division II or NAIA looks with his size and jumper. Martinich has improved a lot over his career at Mount Saint Mary’s.
