One of those players is Westmoore 2018 Point Guard Will Graham. He stands at 5’10 with many intangibles coaches will love to have in their Point Guard.
Graham does a great job of facilitating things with the ball in his hands. Last night Graham finished with 16 points and 7 assists in the Westmoore loss. He is not just an offensive talent, but Graham puts on a focus on defense as well. The best play of the night Graham snagged a steal and jammed the basketball on the other end of the court.
Westmoore took a loss last night. It was clear the Jags are not ready for the spotlight just yet, but Graham made it loud and clear he is a player that deserves some recognition. Graham had a college ready body with his strength. The strength of Graham allows him to get to the rim and finish through contact.
Graham projects to the Division II level with the skills to come in and contribute from the start. With that said it will be interesting to see how much Graham can continue to step up his game as his final season of grassroots basketball approaches. Low major Division I programs have shown a little interest in Graham.
The work Graham puts in the gym is evident each time he steps on the floor. Graham has a chance to step up and lead the Jags to the state tournament this year. He is one of the better floor generals in the state regardless of class.
