Best Offensive Performance: Elijah Landrum Tulsa Central 2017 Guard
Landrum had to work for every basket as the Bombers played very tough defense on him throughout the morning. At 5’9 Landrum found ways to get open using his athleticism, quickness and toughness. Landrum did everything he could offensively to keep his team in the game for as long as he could.
Best Defensive Performance: Josh Rivers Midwest City 2018 Guard
Rivers is one of the best guards in the state at defending on the ball. He had the tough task of guarding Elijah Landrum on Wednesday morning. Landrum got his points, but Rivers made it as tough as possible making him work for every basket.
Under the Radar Player: Quaran Washington Tulsa Central Forward
He stands around 6’4 with the ability to play on the wing or bang in the paint. He would fit perfect in a JUCO or NAIA Division II program. Washington plays extremely hard on both ends of the floor. He was most effective catching the ball on the wing and driving to the basket. One other thing coaches will love about Washington’s game is his hustle to get rebounds on both ends.
Best Intangibles: Josh Rivers Midwest City 2018 Guard
Rivers was great on both ends of the floor on Wednesday. He is starting to find confidence on the offensive end making him a two way threat. Rivers netted 17 points on the day shooting the three-point shot very well. Rivers is a prime small college prospect in the 2018 Oklahoma Class.
