“Assistant Coach JP Nyadaro from Trevecca Nazarene came to watch Noah play last night,” shared Noah’s father Chet Cunningham.
Trevecca has been involved with Noah throughout 2016. Also, Cunningham continues to get a hard push from Centre College, Transylvania, and Brescia.
Greenville College and Grinnell College (D3 in Iowa) coaches texted frequently since late October.
Two weeks ago Transylvania Head Coach Brian Lane swooped by to evaluate Cunningham. During the coach’s observation, Cunningham and MNH defeated McClean County, 72-69.
“Noah had 16 points, two assists, and three blocks,” said Mr. Cunningham.
Noah can score in a variety of ways. He generally hits multiple triples per contest, but his handle and footspeed allow him to get to the rim too. He is a strong shooter from all over the court.
All winter college coaches will drop by Cunningham’s games. His production and eagerness to communicate with recruiters are assets in his push to be a college basketball player.
Trevecca Nazarene is the latest to see Cunningham play.
“(Coach Nyadaro) actually called me yesterday, but wanted to surprise Noah,” said Mr. Cunningham. “They plan to watch again Thursday and want Noah to visit.”
