Over the summer Roberson works on his skills with Oklahoma Run PWP on the Under Armour Circuit. Prep Hoops discovered Roberson this summer with a hot shooting performance for the Oklahoma Run PWP Oklahoma City 15U team. Roberson says he has always been a good shooter, but this summer his game changed for the better.
“Last year I was a pure shooter,” said Roberson. “This year I have been working on my defense, ball handling and playmaking. As well as continuing to work on my shooting to be a better all-around player.”
This year Roberson is set to start as a sophomore for the Edmond Memorial Bulldogs, which is no small feat. The Edmond Memorial Bulldogs have a long tradition of success and winning. Roberson has a good group of young talent with him in the line up.
He is a very talented shooter with a fundamental jump shot. The development of Roberson will be fun to watch with his great work ethic he has the chance to improve vastly. The biggest thing Roberson has to improve is becoming more than just a shooter.
It is to early to tell what level of college Roberson will end up at this time. But one thing is certain Roberson is a player to keep tabs on at Edmond Memorial over the next three years.
Edmond Memorial kicks off their season with a game against Edmond Santa Fe on Tuesday. The Bulldogs continue Edlam on Friday with a battle against Edmond North.
