“I’ve got a couple of letters, my biggest one is from Kent State. And then I’ve had a couple of small schools talking to me a little bit, Pikeville mostly,” said Caudill.
“I’m just hoping to get noticed some more this season, and hoping some good schools will offer me and give me a scholarship.”
A sharpshooter with some decent size, it seems likely that Caudill will make his mark somewhere at the next level.
He defined his playing style to PHKY.
“I think my number one strength is I can shoot the ball really well, and I can space the floor pretty well because of that,” he said.
“I think what I need to work on most is my ball-handling and my defensive play.”
Caudill was fantastic last season as a sophomore, and his freshman year was the sixth-man of a state-qualifying squad.
He’s eager for another increased role this season.
“I just want to get back to the Rupp (Arena) and play there again,” said Caudill, who averaged 17 points and 7 rebounds per game last season.
“I have another year of experience under my belt, so I think I’ll have a bigger role with a lot more scoring. And then just being a leader on the team for the younger guys.”
