At the conclusion of the visit Nebraska extended an offer to him making it known they want in the hunt for his talents. The offer brings Embery’s total to 5 Division I schools (Oklahoma State, UNLV, Kansas State, Tulsa, and Nebraska).
The visit to Nebraska was the first for Embery. Several things caught his eye on the visit.
“The fan support was crazy,” said Embery. “Even when they were not playing a good team it is always packed. They really support the student athletes.”
Over the weekend the coaching staff bonded with Embery. The time at Nebraska allowed Embery to get a good feel for the staff.
“The staff at Nebraska is great,” said Embery. “I would love to build a relationship with them. I feel like I can relate with them.”
The offer from Nebraska gives Embery his first BIG 10 school to extend a scholarship. The visit, staff and offer made a great impression on Embery.
“I am thankful and blessed to receive the offer from the coaching staff,” said Embery. “I feel I can be a big help to the there program with how they run stuff.”
Embery is a combo guard with the ability to run the Point or score the ball at the 2. The handles of Embery along with his athleticism and jump shot make him tough to stop with the ball in his hands. On the defensive end Embery takes charging making it a focus to be a two way player at all times.
The recruitment of Embery is far from over with many more visits and looks to come. However, following the big summer he had on the Under Armour Circuit the recruitment of Embery is starting to take flight. Look for things to really heat up with Embery throughout his junior season.
