The biggest thing Ballance brings to the floor is playmaking ability at the Point. Standing just below 6′ Ballance possess a quickness that makes opponents struggle to guard him. Last season Ballance scored 16.5 points per game for Sapulpa in Class 6A. Ballance is one of the best kept secrets in Class 6A.
Division II schools and NAIA programs should give Ballance a look this season. Sapulpa will miss Alex Ogunseye who provided a post presence on both ends of the floor. But with Ballance, Julian Smith and Trey Phipps the Chieftains will have a three headed monster at the 1 and 2 spots. Ballance is ranked 39th overall in the Oklahoma 2017 Class.
