At 6’3 Wilson brings toughness to a team with a college ready body. Over the past two years Wilson has turned into a two guard after playing the Point for his first two years of high school. The move has shown Wilson’s three-point shooting skills.
He pulled in multiple Division I offers over the summer. Wilson recently committed to Lehigh.
Wilson also rebounds the well for a guard as he pulled down 4.9 boards per game in the Nike EYBL. At Lehigh Wilson will fit perfectly in the system as a combo guard with a good handle and a knack for scoring the basketball. The biggest area Wilson has to improve over the next year before he enters college is defensively.
This year at Edmond North Wilson will lead the Huskies on the floor. Edmond North has a chance to be a special team with Wilson and Harrison Stoddart returning. Not to mention the additions of Marvin Johnson and Carlos Coppage. The starting line up for Edmond North will be lethal. Head Coach Terry Evans will have the Huskies back in contention for the Class 6A Gold Ball.
Wilson has the chance to be one of the highest scorers in the state his senior season. Over his four year high school career at Edmond North Wilson has put up impressive numbers. Wilson earned the #5 overall rankings in the Prep Hoops Oklahoma 2017 Rankings with fantastic play this summer. Look for more of the same this winter with Edmond North.
