“I committed to Connors because the fit is for me,” said Rose. “I also committed early because I want to be stress free for the season from worrying about college. The season is going to be so stress free because I don’t have to worry about college. Now all I have to do is worry about a state championship.”
Rose is an intriguing 6’3 guard that can play at the 2 or the 3 depending on the system. He will bring instant offense to Connors State, but that isn’t the only thing Rose brings to the table. On the defensive end Rose will give Connors State a reliable defender. If Rose goes to Connors State and works hard he will have a great chance to turn out a Division I prospect.
“I am very excited about the future that is held for me,” said Rose. “I know it is going to be great. I can’t wait to get down there and get a new journey started. It is going to be tough, but I love to grind and that is all I’m going to do in college.”
The last two high school seasons at Tulsa Memorial have ended in heartbreak to the Carl Albert Titans. Rose and company are ready to end the season right this year. The only thing on the mind of Rose is winning a state championship.
“My goal for this year is a State Championship,” said Rose. “This year has to be the year we win a championship. I know I have to get my team ready for this year. We have the toughest schedule since I have been in high school. It is most likely going to be a dog fight every game. I have to be a complete leader this year.”
Rose is a great get for Connors State and looks to be primed for a huge senior year at Tulsa Memorial.
