Ben Jenkins 6’6 Putnam City
Jenkins is a wide body who has progressed over the years and has put himself in position to have a big year. Soft hands, good feet, and shooting touch are always intriguing to college coaches. Jenkins can use his big body to get position but can still finish with finesse. He can hit the midrange jumper as well. Coaches are beginning to recognize all of Jenkins talents which could push PCO into a playoff run.
Winston Nelson 6’7 Norman North
Nelson has big shoes to fill with the absence of transfer Cameron Martin. Nelson is up for the task because he had a very good summer with the Timberwolves. Nelson is an excellent rebounder and he is a big man that guards can have confidence in when passing him the ball in traffic. Playing Trae Young will put alot of eyes on Nelson which will definitely help his recruiting. Nelson has good size and has the potential to be a good player at the NAIA or DII level.
Koby Goodman 6’5 Preston
Goodman is a fiesty undersized big man who can rebound with the best of them. He plays with a physicality that causes opponents to shy away. Goodman doesn’t need to fed on the block every play. He has the ability to move around on the perimeter and can hit the occasional jumper. A drive to Preston would be well worth it for college scouts.
Jaylan Williams 6’5 Casady
Williams is a wide body who can put the ball in the basket. He roams a little too much on the perimeter but you can understand why. Williams can stretch the floor and brings spacing to the Casady offense. He has very good touch around the rim. Williams isn’t shy about putting up shots but they usually go in. Casady has a lot of talent and Williams is the man in the middle or spotted in the corner.
Owen Atkinson 6’6 Putnam City
Atkinson is apart of one of the better big man duos in the state with Jenkins. If Jenkins is thunder, then Atkinson is lighting. Athletic, college-ready body, and guard skills makes Atkinson a tough matchup. He is a powerful driver who lives at the foul line. Atkinson could be one of those players who ends up having a better college career then in high school because of his budding potential.
