He’s even taken a visit to one Southern D1, and despite having two years left of high school, he’s already started to take his recruitment into consideration.
“I took a visit to Samford, and then I’ve got letters from Miami of Ohio, and they’ve emailed and called me. And I have calls from Eckerd College in Florida, and then Lindenwood, Bellarmine and NKU have all sent letters and stuff,” said Hall.
“That’s (scholarship) probably the only way I can get into college because I can’t really pay for it, so I’ve been thinking about it for awhile now.”
A combo-guard who can do a little bit of everything well, Hall defined his strengths to PHKY.
“I can handle the ball really well, and then the style of offense we run is a lot of pick-and-rolls, and I’m really good with those. And I can shoot off-the-dribble and spot-up. I need to work on passing a little bit more,” said Hall.
As he approaches his second season starting at Newport Central Catholic, he says he’ll have to ramp-up his production compared to last winter when he averaged 13.7 points and 2.6 assists per game.
“We lost our main scorer from last year, so I’ll probably have to score a lot more and get other people open more to score more,” said Hall. “We don’t really have a of of scorers this year, so I’ll have to be one of the main ones.”
