With a SAT score of 1280 and a 3.95 G.P.A., Davet is a quintessential Ivy League candidate, and he says two schools from that conference have been in heavy pursuit.
“I’ve received a lot of heavy interest from Brown and Dartmouth, and I’m hopeful for them. And I do expect one or even a couple offers to come in within the next few months from any of the Ivy or Patriot League teams that have been showing interest,” said Davet.
“Another top choice for me just because of its academics is MIT, which I’m also going to look at.”
Davet — PHOH’s 35th-ranked 2017 — was headed to check out the Dartmouth campus when we spoke with him last week. And he mentioned them and Brown as the two schools he could see offering a scholarship package first.
“I would have to say at the moment that Brown and Dartmouth would be the two schools that are showing the most interest,” he said. “Recently they both saw me at the Peach Jam, and I’ve been talking to them and they’re always catching up with me and making sure my summer went well. I just feel like they’re very interested in me.”
