“I knock down the three-ball more than anything, but I have a nice handle that gets me to the rack at-will,” Allen said.
Allen played a solid role in the Tigers’ success last season. The player averaged 10.1 points and 1.7 rebounds per contest and dished out a significant amount of assists. This year, Allen says is to just do what he does best.
“My goals for this season are to just play my game and continue to play as a team and win State,” Allen told me.
This summer, Allen played for Team Manimal. He says played well.
“I played for Team Manimal this summer, and I played good,” Allen said.
In the classroom, the student-athlete says he works hard.
“I work hard and make good grades,” Allen stated.
Although he doesn’t have any offers yet, Allen says he has been shown interest from Georgetown College and says more coaches and programs should start to reach out because he shoots unlike anyone else.
“I’m not a set shooter – I’m a mobile shooter that doesn’t fold under pressure,” Allen noted. “I want to take the last shot.”
