Carpenter played a dominant role in the Generals’ success last season. The player averaged 4.7 points and 2.1 rebounds per contest and dished out a significant amount of assists. This year, Carpenter says he wants to, well, win.
“My goal for this year’s season is to lead my team to Rupp Arena,” Carpenter stated. “That is my goal.”
This summer, Carpenter played with the Kentucky Dream Chasers and Kentucky Charlotte Court for AAU. He says he played well.
“This summer, I played for the Kentucky Dreamchasers and the Kentucky Charlotte Court,” Carpenter stated. “I played for coach Garry Saunders and coach Norman Smiley. I played well.”
In the classroom, the athlete says he is a good student.
“I make good grades, and have a good GPA,” Carpenter told me.
Although he hasn’t received any offers or been shown any interest yet, Carpenter says coaches and programs should start to reach out because he works hard.
“My game should catch college coaches’ and other programs eyes because I am a hard worker on and off of the court, and a very humble athlete,” Carpenter said.
