It was not easy at times sitting on the bench when usually he was starting and playing the majority of minutes. But instead of fighting his role Landrum accepted his role and made the most of it. On the biggest stage of the year Landrum thrived in the Nike Peach Jam.

Landrum was the star of his role. In the semifinal and championship game Landrum thrived as the spark plug off the bench. At 5’9 Landrum has some of the best hops of any guard in the country. He scored the ball well in all three phases of the game, but it was the defense Landrum played that was the most impressive.
In the first half of the championship game Trae Young had a shot blocked. PSA pushed the ball down the court on the fast break and it looked like the Cardinals were going to have an easy lay up at the rim. Landrum came from the far corner of the court, tracked down the player with the ball, elevated and blocked his shot at the rim.

The hustle, heart, intensity and will to win set Landrum apart from other player. He was ranked in the Rivals Top 150 before the latest addition was published. Over the first July live period Landrum proved he is a Mid Major plus player with his ability to score, defend and play hard non-stop.
Landrum has received heavy interest from Wichita State and Arkansas since winning Peach Jam yesterday. Expect his interest to increase from schools around the country following his great showing. Landrum finished the championship game with 11 points on 5-8 shooting.
