2018 Oklahoma Run PWP 16U Shooting Guard Jaycson Bereal
Coming off of a broken hand, Bereal is looking sharp here in the final live period. He is normally known as a high flying rim rocker but showed to day he’s capable of many things. Bereal is showing and improved handle out on the perimeter which has been a big part of his development. He’s never been one to be in love with the three ball and would rather pull up in the mid range or attack the rim.
2017 Oklahoma Run PWP 17U Power Forward Adrian Rodriguez
Rodriguez had a solid performance in a down to the wire game. He provided all the things you can ask out of a big by rebounding, and protecting the rim. Not to mention pouring in 22 points. Rodriguez is a talent big who can even stretch-out to the three point line. His versatility increases his value at the next level.
2018 Oklahoma Run PWP 16U Point Guard Jon Matthews
Matthews is one of the moe shifty players that the state has to offer. His change of pace combine with his sheer speed makes it difficult for defenders to stay in front wether in the open floor or in the half court. He then uses that free space to open up opportunities for his teammates on the perimeter and in the paint. To make himself more appealing, Matthews could do a better job of looking for his own shot and converting at a higher level.
2017 Omaha Elite 17U Combo Guard Marques Wilson
Wilson’s Omaha Elite team has been the most impressive so far with a 2-0 record in pool play. Wilson himself has been equally impressive. He has the ability to knock down three’s in bunches. While he did show flashes of that, most of his money was made attack the rim and applying pressure on the defense. Wilson could really use this final live period to increase his list of schools interest in his services.
2019 Oklahoma Run PWP 15U Black Center Seth Hurd
Hurd was once seen as a raw talent with lots of size but not yet knowing just how to use that size. Slowly but surely it is all coming together for Hurd as he score 16 points in a win over Omaha Elite. He found his rhythm in the post and began to be aggressive for the ball. Hurd now uses a combination of footwork and strength to score in the paint.
2017 Oklahoma Run PWP 17UCombo Guard Burke Putnam
Putnam has grown in his role as back up point guard with PWP. One skill of Putnam’s that stood out Thursday was his ability to post up similar sized and even larger guards. He found ways to finish around them or distribute from the post. Putnam also showed that he can be a great rebounding guard. He is also a kid who could really garner some attention heading into his final year.
