2017 Oklahoma Wolfpack Shooting Guard Kody Gilliland
Gilliand is known for having the hot hand from beyond the arc with a “let it fly” mentality. He shot the ball well but was even more impressive putting the ball on the floor and working off the dribble and getting to the rim. If he can increase his versatility on the offensive end, Gilliand could be attractive to many smaller in-state colleges.
2017 Below The Rim Point Guard George Price
Price has surprised many here in Wichita throughout pool play. He has shown that he can score in bunches with 21 point performance on Friday. With great length, Price is creative of the dribble allowing him to get in the lane to create plays. He also feature a smooth and consistent jumper from deep.
2017 Oklahoma Showtime Shooting Guard Jeff Oxford
Oxford has flown under the radar so far but has recently shown that he is capable of a few things that may be valuable at the next level. He is more equipped to play the two-guard but is an exceptional passer. The deep ball was also kind to Oxford as he poured in 25 points in his first performance on Thursday. This live period will be critical for him to pick up steam recruiting.
2017 Oklahoma Run PWP Select Point Guard Aaron Lucas
Lucas did a great job of controlling the games tempo for PWP. He has an exceptional handle to where even when he’s at full speed he is under control. Lucas is especially versatile on the offensive end. When you need to slow thing down if the half court and make a play he can. When you need him to get a bucket in a one-on-one situation he can also produce. Lucas has picked up Division II interest this summer.
2017 Oklahoma Wolfpack Shooting Guard Romio Harvey
Harvey had a rough outings in his first couple of games but he put it all together at the end to score 28 point on Friday. He moves well without the ball and has great length to finish at the rim. Harvey isn’t very flashy around the perimeter but is dangerous when getting downhill. He has recently picked up interest from Air Force.
2017 OKC Storm Point Guard Kristoff Hayden
Hayden is a player who doesn’t have an true identity but does everything well. He has averaged 18 point in pool play including a 25 point game in his first outing. Hayden can fire up the three ball, finish with both hands, and facilitate the floor. He has great size at 6’2” with lots of length to go with it. With a good end to the summer, Hayden could start to garner Division II attention.
