2017 Norman North Power Forward Winston Nelson
Nelson has picked up some steam in the recruiting world lately and deservingly so. He has made strides towards becoming the hard nose force inside that his team so desperately needs. He has improved his activity on the boards and has developed a true offensive presence in the paint. Nelson’s stock is heading in the right direction as a stretch four.
2017 Edmond North Shooting Guard Marques Wilson
Wilson is also a player who has shown lots of improvements over the summer. He was in attack mode from the start against Putnam City West. With his improved handle, Wilson is able attack defenders relentlessly keeping them off balance. He only needs a bit of space to get off his lethal jumper and excels at getting to the rim. Wilson will be a top tier scorer in his final season.
2018 Midwest City Shooting Guard Keyshawn Embery
Embery has the ability to take over a game and will a team to victory. On Saturday, his perimeter shot faded at times but he still found a way to stay in the game. Embery had success driving the lane and finishing through contact. He plays the game at a level that clearly shows that he is the best 2018 Oklahoma Prospect.
2018 Midwest City Small Forward Jalen Redmond
Redmond is an athletic freak of nature and showed that by making plays all day in the paint. He doesn’t have all the size in the world but he makes plays by creating off the dribble. He can face up or play with his back to the basket and finish over either shoulder. Redmond also had a big day on the offensive and defensive glass. Although he is a big prospect on the basketball court, Redmond recently joined the Bombers on the gridiron and has received lots of Division I attention. He may end up with Division I offers in both sports.
2017 Putnam City West Point Guard Gerren Jackson
Jackson has showed that he belongs amongst the elite class of guards in the state of Oklahoma. He has a high basketball IQ wether the ball is in his hand or not. With the ball, Jackson is stellar at attacking the rim and finishing with either hand. With his size and ability to handle the ball, expect Jackson to pick up attention.
2017 Adair Point Guard Bo Rogers
Rogers had a big day for the Warriors. He was the find of the day surprising with his stellar performance. He did a good job at dictating the pace for his ball club and finished with 19 points in a win over Spirio. Rogers shot the ball well from deep and did a good job of facilitating.
2017 Casady Point Guard Omar Boone
Boone is a dynamic guard with the ability to put up big scoring numbers. He is aggressive in his attack to the rim. Wether in transition or in the half court, Boone is dangerous when he starts to get downhill. He also adds value with his presence on the defensive end. Boone can hassle defenders on the perimeter and throw off a teams entire offense.
