“I had Miami of Ohio send me a letter early in the school year, and also Kentucky Wesleyan and Kent State. Also Murray State has shown a little interest, not much, but a little,” said Franklin, who mentioned which schools he’s heard the most from.
“The Kentucky Wesleyan coach texts me all the time, and Miami of Ohio sends me a lot of mail.”
An aggressor offensively, Franklin is coming off a nice sophomore season with the Dragons and mentioned his playing style to PHK.
“My style of play is I’m really aggressive and I can get to the cup and finish with ease through contact. And I can facilitate well too,” said Franklin.
“And I need to work on my jump-shot if anything. I’m getting more of a quicker release, but I need to work on my form still.”
This summer — during his 16U grassroots season — Franklin will play with Next Level.
“Really my role is to lead them and my goal for the summer is to just pick up a little more interest. And what I’m really focused on is working towards getting a good score on the ACT,” said Franklin.
“I just really want a couple more letters if anything — just a couple D1, or even some D2 letters.”
