Prep Hoops Oklahoma State Tournament Info
The Prep Hoops Oklahoma State Tournament gets underway Friday at Midwest City High School and Del City High School. 70 teams will compete throughout the five divisions for the Prep Hoops Oklahoma State Title. Below is all of the information needed for this weekend.
Entry fee will be $7 on Friday night and $10 on Saturday and Sunday. Coaches must pick up their coaches passes and score keeper passes at Del City High School on Friday night by 9pm or by Saturday at 10am. Prep Hoops Oklahoma State Tournament Rules
1. All games will follow National Federation Of High School Rule Books, unless otherwise noted.
2. If a team does not have (5) five players to start the game after the required warm-up time, the gym director will have the right to forfeit the game.
3. There is a guaranteed (2) two minute warm-up time between Games.
4. All games consist of 2 half’s 15 minutes each with stop clock.
5. 6th Grade- 8th divisions: If a team lead is 20 or more points the clock will run until the lead is cut to 10 points. HS divisions: If a team lead is 20 or more points the clock will run until the lead is cut to 15 points.
6. Each team has (3) timeouts per game. (2) two Full time-outs and (1) 30 seconds time-outs. In Overtime, each team will be awarded (1) one additional full time-out.
7. One and one on 10th foul
8. Half-time is (3) three minutes.
9. A player will foul out on his (6) sixth foul.
10. First overtime period is 2 minutes stop clock. Second overtime period is 1 minute stop clock. Third overtime period is sudden death.
11. 11U-12U Divisions will use the 28.5” ball.
12. 13U – 17U Divisions will use the 29.5” ball.
13. Each team must provide their own warm-up balls.
14. The home team provides the game ball.
15. Home team will provide the official scorekeeper.
16. Each team is responsible for having a light colored (home) uniform and a dark colored (away) uniform.
17. The home team is listed first in pool play or on the top of the bracket play.
