Brady Manek 2017 Team Griffin Small Forward (Committed to Oklahoma)
Manek was the go to man for Team Griffin on Saturday and he did not disappoint. He was on fire from three-point range. The biggest thing Manek impressed with on Saturday morning was his toughness. With Team Griffin not having much size Manek is forced to bang on defense with the 4/5’s. He stood his ground and held his own.
Omar Boone 2017 Team Griffin Point Guard
Boone had a terrific first game scoring 18 points including the game winner for Team Griffin against CIA Bounce. He excelled getting to the basket and using the floater to get the ball over taller defenders. Boone cooled off a little in the second game of the day. He is an interesting prospect in the 2017 Class and certainly one to watch.
Ethan Chargois 2017 Team Griffin Forward
Chargios was outstanding for Team Griffin in their opening game against CIA Bounce recording 17 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists in the win. Chargios shot over 50% from the floor. In the second game Chargios was limited to just 3 shots against Playaz. He shot 2 of 3 for 7 points and pulled down 5 rebounds.
Elijah Landrum 2017 MOKAN Point Guard
Landrum is in a much different role this year playing with a loaded MOKAN Elite squad. He only played 7 minutes in the first game, but made them count snatching a steal and hitting a few baskets. It will be interesting to see how Landrum a Top 150 Rivals 2017 Prospect will handle his new role. He could be one of the best kept secrets in Oklahoma.
Harrison Stoddart 2017 PWP Forward
Stoddart has played the best of any Oklahoma player at Nike or the Under Armor Circuit. Stoddart has shot over 60% from the floor. He knows his role with PWP and plays within his means. Many times Stoddart has to guard a much bigger player at the 5, but he has been able to handle it and be physical. He has raised his stock tremendously this weekend showing he is a Division I Forward. The best game of the day for Stoddart was against the South Jersey Jazz Saturday night. He scored 20 points on 6-8 shooting from the floor and 3-4 from behind the arc. Stoddart has easily been the break out preform in New York this weekend.
David Ward 2018 PWP Guard
Ward stole the show on Saturday dominating from start to finish. He ended the game with 30 points on over 50% shooting from the floor. Ward has outstanding athleticism with a smooth jumper from the outside and mid-range. Ward has played the best for the 2018’s so far in NYC.
Josh Procter 2018 PWP Guard
Procter does so many things right on the floor for PWP. He always hustles on both ends of floor and gives everything he has. Procter dominated at times Saturday showing off his handles and speed. If defenders give him any lane he attacks straight to the rim. Procter is a Division I Football player, but if he ever wants to pursue basketball the opportunity will be there.
Caleb Bennett 2017 PWP Guard
Bennett has a nickname after the first two days on the Under Armor Association I’m going to refer to Bennett as Mr. Consistent. He has showed up every game and been a scoring boost for PWP. Over the 3 day stretch Bennett is averaging over 15 points per game. When Bennett is going PWP is tough to stop.
