Continue ReadingAgua Fria had a heckuva season this year, making it all the way to the AIA Division-II state title game. The Owls were led by 6’4” junior wing Bryce Fowler.
“A little disappointing on how the state title game went but I think (the season) went great,” stated Fowler.
Bryce averaged 14 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 assists as the leader of Agua Fria. The lefty’s ability to use change of pace and direction to get in the paint and make plays in combination with his outside shooting stroke helped him to be very successful.
While he’s pretty polished, he stated that he’s continuing to work on his ball handling and foot speed.
This spring Fowler will be competing with Team Zona Pump ‘N Run.
“(I’m) excited to get out there and hopefully get some offers.”
Bryce has heard from a couple schools here and there but hasn’t had consistent contact with anyone. He has, however, been thinking about what he wants in a collegiate program.
“(I want) a great education, nice facilities, and a great coaching staff.
While Fowler doesn’t know what his major will be he is a solid student, sitting with a 3.0 GPA.
