However, Fuqua displayed his talents that allow him to overcome being 5’10” at the Point. He always hustles on both ends of the floor doing what ever he can to get his team a win. Defensively, Fuqua takes on the challenge of guarding the opponents Point Guard as tough as possible.
Friday, Fuqua recorded 3 steals against the Young Legends out of Milwaukee. Fuqua led the way for Oklahoma Run PWP with 19 points, 2 assists, 5 rebounds and 3 steals.
He currently holds one division I offer from Oral Roberts University. If Fuqua can continue to play at this level throughout the weekend in New York City more offers will come his way.
He may be undersized, but Fuqua is tough as nails. Fuqua handled body contact very well and did a good job of not turning over the ball. Over the past year Fuqua has continued to become more of a consistent three-point shooter. What makes him so special at the Point is his ability to command a team.
When Oklahoma Run PWP needed a big play they turned to Fuqua. In high school ball Fuqua received the nick name “Mr. Big Shot” for his clutch game winning shots at Booker T. Washington. The clutch gene runs deep in the Fuqua family. Look for more big games from Fuqua this weekend.
