Young is a great ball handler with tremendous vision seeing the entire floor. Although, his three-point shot is the most focused on Young is great at finding teammates for open looks.
The three-point shot of Young is compared to Steph Curry of the Warriors by many. He is able to get his shot off so quickly and frequently makes it over double and triple teams.
The pressure Young had on his shoulders throughout the 2015-2016 season was a lot for a high school junior. Every team Norman North faced threw double and triple teams at him. Most played him very physical.
Young will have the chance to come back to Norman North and win back-to-back Gatorade Player of the Year awards, but is considering Prep School for next year. Nearly every college in the country is recruiting Young who is ranked as high as 13 nationally.
This award is the first of many for Young with the talents he brings to the floor.
